Successful Pregnancy in a Patients Undergoing Regular Hemodialysis

Abstract
Women with end stage renal disease have a exceedingly poor reproductive capacity. The risk of dialysis in pregnancy are significantl to both the mather and the fetus. And so successful pregnancy outcome with a live birth is a distinctly rare
occurrence
in women reguiring chronic regular hemodialysis before conception and continuing through out the gestation.
Recently, we have experienced a case of successful pregnancy in a 35 year-old patient undergoing regular hemodialysis. The patient had a spontaneous vaginal delivery at 37 weeks gestation. The baby's Apgar scores were 7 and 9 at 1 and 5 minutes,
respectively, the body weight was 2.5kg and there was no evidence of congenital abnormality. The mother was uneventful.
The authors report this case with a reviews of literature.
